DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Friday Nov 15 2024

I Pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one Nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.

  • CHS will be offering a catch up night on November 21st from the end of school till 5:30.  All students who stay productive for that time will qualify for free pizza!  This will replace tutoring that day.

  • For Seniors considering Clinton Community College after high school, on Wednesday, November 20th, we have scheduled an opportunity for you to visit CCC.  It is a fun opportunity to meet with the Admission teams, learn about financial aid and scholarship opportunities, and visit with student engagement.  For more information, please email Marla Schultz, College and Career transition counselor  marla.schultz@csdkq.org, or stop by and see her in room A227.

  • Calling all creatives: Come audition for the Clinton High School Speech Team! Speech helps strengthen your speaking and performance skills with friends and, most importantly, it's a lot of fun! Large group speech auditions will be held on Monday, Nov. 18th from 4-5 p.m. and Tuesday, Nov. 19th from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in room S154. Students should plan to stay the full hour to audition. Interested students only need to attend one audition session, and they don't need to have anything prepared. Just show up and have fun with us as we play theater games and read from script samples! Questions? Please email Mrs. Lemon-Levy or Miss Struble.

  • Join us in the library for “Read a Latte” on Monday, November 18th right after school till 4:15.

  • The CHS Library is hosting the FIRST ANNUAL KNOW-vember reading challenge!  Students and staff are challenged to read a NONFICTION Book this month and enter to win a prize basket of fall goodies!  Entry forms can be found with your ELA teachers and the library.  Entries are due Tuesday December 3rd.  Happy Reading!

  • Please check the “lost and found”, located outside the library, if you have lost something.  It is getting very full of lost items.
