Congratulations to Mr. Webster for being staff of the week! Mr. Webster consistently goes above and beyond for his students. His classes are engaging and he ensures that everyone stays on track in Biology!
CHS will be offering a catch up night on November 21st from the end of school till 5:30. All students who stay productive for that time will qualify for free pizza! This will replace tutoring that day.
There will be an informational meeting for large group speech tomorrow from 8-8:15 am in S154.
First day of the girls basketball season is today. You can still join the team after school today in Yourd. Practice until 6pm. Go Queens!!!
Anyone interested in joining the boys swim team this year stop by coach Hayton's room A-123 or talk with Asher Dornbush or Reagan Steenhard. The first practice is today at 4. Even if you're unsure, stop by the pool and check things out.
Do you play guitar or drum set? The show choir band is in need of both. Please email or find Mrs. Vonderohe as soon as possible if you can help us out.

Attention -- boys basketball players: make sure you get your white card from the activities office BEFORE the first day of practice, which is Monday, November 18th. Remember, open gyms for boys basketball are Sunday at 5pm, and Monday and Thursday at 6:30pm.
Attention, girls soccer players: If you are thinking about joining girls soccer, and would like to get in some extra touches, join us for OPEN GYM on Thursday, November 14th at 6:00pm in the Wellness gym! Enter through the Wellness double doors at the Hall of Fame hallway. Please stop by room #103 to see Coach Feaster and get signed up for the girls soccer Google classroom and to be on the message!!
The football banquet will be held on Wednesday, November 13th starting at 5:30 in the commons. This will be a potluck style banquet, so please bring a dish to share and your table service.
The CHS Library is hosting the FIRST ANNUAL KNOW-vember reading challenge! Students and staff are challenged to read a NONFICTION Book this month and enter to win a prize basket of fall goodies! Entry forms can be found with your ELA teachers and the library. Entries are due Tuesday December 3rd. Happy Reading!
Your River Queen swimmers traveled to Dubuque to compete in the Regional meet. The Queens placed 8th out of 10. The Queens ended the season on a high note with 16 team and personal season bests. The Queens had some great swims by Brisch, Kaup, Schroeder and Whitney. Thanks to all who helped and cheered on the Queens this season.
