On Friday, the River Kings traveled to take on the Clear Creek Amana Clippers in their final football game of the season. The Sophomore River Kings ended their season with a hard fought loss of 30-19. Although the score doesn't show it, the defense kept the game close in the 4th quarter with the Kings amassing 4 turnovers! It was a great season and we are very proud of the progress and growth of the squad. The Varsity Kings put up a solid fighting effort, but in the end fell to the Clippers 56--22. Thank you to the Senior Kings for their years of service, and thank you to the students, staff and fans of Clinton High for all of the support for the River King Football program!! This was a special season we will remember for a long time!!!!
