  • Clinton High Drama and Camanche Storm Theater will present Zombie Prom, a nuclear 50's musical on November 1st, 2nd, & 3rd at Camanche High School. Adult tickets are $10. Students and senior citizens are $7. Tickets are available online only. See posters and monitors for the QR code.


  • Attention all lovers of knowledge.  It is that time of year again to be revving up the lightning fast buzzer fingers and bringing the files of unconventional knowledge to the forefronts of your brains.  Yes, it is time to assemble the infamous CHS Quiz Bowl Team. If you are interested in participating please see or email Mrs. Steines. We need to start practicing soon!


  • After-School Tutoring is being offered every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:45 - 4:45 in the New Library!  There is no cost.  We have staff in most of the core classes available! Please ask a CHS teacher or administrator if you would like to attend! Don’t wait if you are behind in a class.


  • No School Tomorrow Oct 18th.


  • The Royal River King & Queen Marching Band will perform at the State Marching band competition in Muscatine Saturday afternoon and then host their own competition “Music on the Mississippi” at Coan Field starting at 6:00 pm. Adults $10 Students $5 Family of 4 $25. Come see what a marching band competition is all about and enjoy a fireworks finale.


  • Last night River Kings and Queens XC competed in the Mississippi Athletic Conference Meet which had four ranked teams, including the top ranked girls team: the PV Spartans.  Varsity girls placed 6th missing 4th place by a mere five points. The Queens were led by medalists and second team all-conference finishers Alli Haskell 12th and Carryn Sattler 13th. Aubrey Rivers placed 17th with Sescie Haan, Akemah McClendon, and Kirstin Bengtson rounding out the scoring.  Fresh-soph Girls placed 6th and were led by Chloe Ellis, Riley Reynolds, Sophia Morley, Kaylee Davis, and Brooklyn Cooley.  Varsity boys placed 10th. The Kings were led by Kolton Lorion, Ed Weiner, Zarek Haskell, Jordan Stafford, and David Peralta-Flores.  Fresh-soph boys placed 8th and were led by CJ Estes, Anthony Sayson, Connor Roberts, Cael Schwarz, Carter Dunham, and Johnny Gonzalez.  The JV Boys were led by Jayden Krogmann, Asher Dornbush, Connor Roberts, and Logan Spooner.  The team had eleven PRs or season's best with ten runners dropping time from last week's meet at the same course. PR's were earned by Lorion, Krogmann, Spooner, Estes, Roberts, Dunham, Gonzalez, Ellis, and Cooley. The harriers travel back to Solon on Wednesday to compete in the State Qualifying Meet. If you see a runner in the hallway, give them a high-five.
