The last day to buy Homecoming Dance Tickets is Today, in the library. Tickets are not sold at the door; you must buy them Today. $5 for CHS or EAC students and $10 if you have an out of school date. Cash or check only.
Students have to buy wristbands during lunch Friday to attend the football game. $5 each. Must have Edmentum tests done and can't have more than 10 tardies/absences combined or any behavior incidents to attend.
People who ordered Homecoming T Shirts and selected for them to be picked up at Rivals. The shirts are available and Rivals is open until until 7:00 PM
No concession stand at lunch, Thursday or Friday.
We have a 2 hour late start on Friday Oct 4th, but school buses will run at their same time. There will be no School Breakfast that day.
Homecoming Pancake Breakfast: Friday Oct 4th 6:30 am to 8:30 am. $5 a person or $20 for a family.
iJAG will be selling tickets for the pie in the face contest at all three lunches during homecoming week. Purchase tickets for the chance to pie a student or staff member in the face during Friday's pep assembly. You can purchase one ticket for $1, six tickets for $5, or an arm's length for $20.
Attention Staff & Students: Please move your vehicle out of the West parking lot, next to the football field, by 4:00 PM Today to make room for the homecoming parade lineup.
Homecoming Dress up days for the week: Friday: Red and Black.
There is an OK list for the homecoming dance posted outside the library by the book return. If your name isn’t on the list, ask in the library the list might be a little outdated. Don’t forget to get your Edmentum tests done.
After-School Tutoring is being offered every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:45 - 4:45 in the New Library! There is no cost. We have staff in most of the core classes available! Please ask a CHS teacher or administrator if you would like to attend!
The River King boys golf team wrapped up their regular season meets yesterday playing at Duck Creek golf course in Davenport. Despite shooting only 20 strokes behind the first place team in the quadrangular, the Kings unfortunately still took 4th place. Connor Busse had the 3rd lowest score in the meet with a 39 with Scott Pasakarnis shooting 43 and Ray Brown shooting 44. Playing in their first varsity meet ever, Carter Thorpe and Maverick Hensel both shot 49s while Nathan Frye shot a 50. The Kings will play in the District meet on Monday in Peosta at Thunder Hills Country Club.
