Homecoming Pancake Breakfast: Friday Oct 4th 6:30 am to 8:30 am. $5 a person or $20 for a family.
Reminder we have a 2 hour late start on Friday Oct 4th so there will be no School Breakfast that day
Clinton High School Yearbook wants all students and staff to submit your memories for this year's book! Scan the QR code on the monitors around the school to upload your favorite HOCO photos and other photos throughout the year. Make sure to tag your friends!
iJAG will be selling tickets for the pie in the face contest at all three lunches during homecoming week. Purchase tickets for the chance to pie a student or staff member in the face during Friday's pep assembly. You can purchase one ticket for $1, six tickets for $5, or an arm's length for $20.
An admissions rep from the University of Dubuque will be visiting the counseling office Thursday, October 3rd at 9:30 am. Please email Mrs. Klinkhammer if you would like to attend.
Attention Staff & Students: Please move your vehicle out of the West parking lot, next to the football field, by 4:00 PM on Thursday to make room for the homecoming parade lineup.
Homecoming Dress up days for the week: Thursday: Construction, and Friday: Red and Black.
There is an OK list for the homecoming dance posted outside the library by the book return. Don’t wait till Thursday to make sure you are ok to buy your ticket. If your name isn’t on the list, ask in the library to see what you need to do to go to the dance. Don’t forget to get your Edmentum tests done. There are quite a few who still need to get those done so they can go.
The Homecoming Dance Tickets will be sold till Oct 3rd, that is Tomorrow, in the library. Tickets are not sold at the door; you must buy them before Thursday. $5 for CHS or EAC students and $10 if you have an out of school date. Cash or check only.
Last night the River Kings and Queens Cross Country team competed against nineteen teams, including ten ranked in each gender, at the Williamsburg Invitational. The varsity Queens girls placed 8th and were led by medalists Aubrey Rivers 8th, Alli Haskell 14th, and Carryn Sattler 15th. The Queen, Sescie Haan and Kirstin Bengtson rounded out the scoring for the Queens. Varsity Kings placed 14th, and were led by Ed Weiner, Kolton Lorion, CJ Estes, Jordan Stafford, Anthony Sayson, and David Peralta-Flores. JV Girls placed 9th and were led by Akemah McClendon, Avery Balog, Sophia Morley, Riley Reynolds, Chloe Ellis, Kaylee Davis, and Nora Brown. JV Boys placed 12th and were led by Cael Schwarz, Jayden Krogmann, Connor Roberts, Asher Dornbush, Jason Wheat, Johnny Gonzalez, and Logan Spooner. The team recorded eleven PRs and five season's bests against top level competition. Earning PR's for the team were Weiner, Estes, Schwarz, Roberts, Gonzalez, Rivers, McClendon, Balog, Morley, Ellis and Davis who dropped a two minute PR. Season's best were had by Sattler, Haan, Reynolds, and Brown. The harriers are back in action next Thursday at the DeWitt Invitational. If you see an XC runner in the hallway, give them a high five and tell them great job.
