Students, make sure you get your Edmentum tests completed. You can make them up in the library or talk to your teachers. We are not letting students go to the game this Friday or the HOCO dance or HOCO game if they don't have their tests done.
First wave of voting for class attendants has been sent out. Please vote for up to 10 students. The form closes at the end of the day Friday.
If you don't wanna be stuck with your grandparent's music this homecoming, please fill out the song request form sent in your emails
CHS International Club will have its meeting today after school in Mrs. Krueger's room A317.
No D&D club tonight.
After-School Tutoring is being offered every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:45 - 4:45 in the New Library! There is no cost. We have staff in most of the core classes available! Please ask a CHS teacher or administrator if you would like to attend!
Sign-up for The Homecoming Dance has started. The form was sent to your school email by Ms. North. If you want to go to the dance you must sign up using this form. You need to have all the Edmentum tests done to go to the dance. Make sure you are talking to your friends about getting signed up to go especially if your friend goes to EAC, is online, or doesn't listen to the daily announcements.
Last night the Freshman football team hosted Dubuque Wahlert. The River Kings did not come away with the win, but the boys went out and played hard. We have a quick turn around, the Kings will bounce back and be ready for our game against Dewitt on Friday!
Your River Queen Swim team has had a busy couple days. The Queens placed 5th in Varsity and JV Saturday at the River Queen Invitational. Medaling for the Queens were: Cagle, Schroeder, Srp, Perez, Whitney, Kaup, Emmert and Ewer. The Queens competed well and had some nice time drops. Your Queens dualed with Morrison Mustangs last night. The Queens came away with the victory in both Varsity 84 to 71 and JV 25 to 14. Taking 1st for the Queens were: Cagle, Reyna, Otegui, Perez, Schroeder, Srp, Kaup, Whitney, and Ewer. The Queens will take on the North Scott Lancers for the first time ever tonight here in the King and Queen Aquatic Center. The meet starts at 5:30 come cheer on your QUEENS!!
