DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Tuesday Sept 10 2024

I Pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one Nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.

  • Attention all boys soccer players. We will begin our fall open turf sessions this Wednesday, from 5:00-6:30 on the complex turf. Contact Coach Kruse if you have any questions.

  • We are taking the Edmentum tests this week. We will have individual core departments proctor a test each day during regularly scheduled class time throughout the week.  We hope that this approach will minimize testing anxiety and help with testing stamina. So it is in your best interest to make sure you are here and trying your best this week. Don’t forget you must have these done to go to the Homecoming Dance.

  • As we are testing this week don’t forget to charge your computers and bring your computers and chargers to school.  The library has a limited number of loaner chargers and computers.

  • Out of school date forms for the Homecoming Dance are already available in the library.  If you want to bring a date who doesn't go to CHS please stop into the library and pick up a form.  If your date is from a different High School we need their Principal to sign the form, so don’t wait till the day before they are due to grab one.

  • Josten's presentation is today. We will do sophomores at the end of 2nd hour (9:50ish) and the seniors will be at the start of 3rd period.  This will push back them taking orders on September 17th.

  • Wed, Sept 25th, is Future Ready Night from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be a financial aid presentation and Representatives from Colleges/Universities, Military, Trade Schools, Unions, and Local Employers.  See the QR code on the TVs to see who will be present.

  • After-School Tutoring is being offered every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:45 - 4:45 in the New Library!  There is no cost.  We have staff in most of the core classes available! Please ask a CHS teacher or administrator if you would like to attend!

  • If you find something that isn’t yours, turn it into the “Lost and Found” located by the library.  If the item you find is small or electronic please give it to the library ladies. Also, don’t forget to keep checking the “Lost and Found” if you have misplaced something, because not everything lost is found right away.
